the bar area was spacious and clean (i especially liked that). staff members were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. the breakfast had many choices and the dinner was good.
i found the updated pet policy to be quite expensive. a £40 charge for a dog seemed excessive, especially for a single night stay. this policy.

the riverside walk went straight into town. It was very well lit. the hotel is very close to M6 motorway, AMAZING.
the air conditioning system looked to work only in heating mode. the room was over 23 degrees

The hotel was generally clean with plenty of parking available. the restaurant exceeded my expectations. staff were helpful when i lost my phone. They were really good trying to find it.
i found that the air conditioning system only worked in heating mode. the room was quite warm. the hotel provided a fan to try and resolve the issue, but it did little to improve the situation.
